I am an Ocean
As part of the “Singing Verse” project/catalyst grant through the College of the Arts at Kent State University, I composed this work collaborating with the wonderful poet, Amanda Stovicek of the Wick Poetry Center, and performers, Shelby Olive Denton and Spencer Perkins. This was a lovely opportunity to have interdisciplinary collaborations and to be able to showcase the work at the end of the year concert with the president in attendance! Thank you again to everyone involved especially to Amanda, Shelby, and Spencer! I hope you enjoy, i am an ocean.
